WAB CLUB FEATURE: Broward Table Tennis Club

Posted on (by Steve Hopkins) The Broward Table Tennis Club offers regular tournaments, camps, and coaching opportunities.  They have been a host of an  ITTF World Veterans Tour event. There are regular clinics on Tuesdays and Saturdays, courses for kids on Friday and Sunday, and a handicap event every Friday. BTTC is at 3371 N. University Drive in Davie, Florida, just North of Miami in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton metropolitan area of the Southeast coast of the State.  The club is near to Florida’s Turnpike about 12 miles from Fort Lauderdale and 25 miles from Miami Beach. Broward Table Tennis Club merged with South Florida Table Tennis a few years ago to create a prestigious, state of the art club.  The facility has 19 tables, robots, blue table tennis flooring, 1000 lux fluorescent lighting, and high ceilings.  They are one of 11 clubs chosen to be a “National Club of Excellence” in the US.  They also have a lounge with chairs, couches, tables, flat screen TV’s and WIFI that overlooks the playing areas. During tournaments, they also feature Le Bistro in their kitchen area that provides a large menu for competitors. Broward Table Tennis Club offers a multitude of activities for all ages and levels of play.  Whether you live in the area or are a visitor, you should come check out the club for yourself.
