US Nationals Preview: Action Starts in 10 Days

Action starts in Huntsville on July 3.  Kanak Jha, USA’s only male Olympian, will be the top seed in Men’s Singles.  Jinxin Wang, Xiang Jing Zhang, Nandan Naresh, Sid Naresh, Dan Liu, Darryl Tsao, Andrew Cao, Mohammadreza Akhlaghpasand, and Ved Shesh are the rest of the Top 10 seeds in order.  On the Women’s side, Amy Wang, Lily Zhang, Hong Lin, Rachel Sung, Tiffany Ke, Jessica Reyes-Lai, Kayla Goodwin, Mandy Yu, Alondra Rodriguez, and Carmen Yu will lead the way.

Six hundred and twenty three players are signed up to compete in 115 events.  The premier events are Hsing Family Foundation Men’s Singles, Hsing Family Foundation Women’s Singles, Hsing Family Foundation U-21 Men’s Singles, and Hsing Family Foundation U-21 Women’s Singles.  There are also 10 Boys and Girls Singles Events (U-19, U-17, U-15, U-13, and U-11) and an additional 17 events for older participants with age groupings of 30& Over up to 85 & Over.  There are also 40 Doubles Events, Open, Adult, and Junior Rating Events, a series of Wasserman Classic Events, a Parkinson event and 7 Para events.
