MLTT stars have a huge week in Huntsville
Our mission statement is all about elevating the game, and part of that is establishing a league that fosters talent domestically to reach new heights. We saw some of those heights at the 2024 U.S. National Championships in Huntsville last week, and were simply honored to be a part of the journey.
The highlight was Hong Lin (Carolina Gold Rush) and Amy Wang (Texas Smash) clashing for the women’s singles title, with Hong Lin coming out on top. Meanwhile, Rachel Sung (Portland Paddlers) finished third.
In men’s singles, Jinxin Wang (Princeton Revolution) took second, while Sid Naresh (Carolina Gold Rush) and Daniel Tran (Chicago Wind) took third.
In men’s U21, it was a clean MLTT sweep, with Nandan Naresh (Texas Smash) first, Sid Naresh second, and Andrew Cao (Seattle Spinners) and Tran third. And in U19 men’s singles, Darryl Tsao (Texas Smash) took the crown.
In doubles, Sid Naresh and Tran took first in men’s overall, Wang and Sung teamed up to take first in women’s overall, and Wang and Cao combined to win mixed overall.
Congratulations to all the athletes for a stellar showing, and good luck in the upcoming season!
