Varadin, Croatia staged the 2015 Croatia Junior & Cadet Open. Canadians Jeremy Hazin succeeded in winning the Silver Medal in the Cadet Singles as well as the Bronze Medal in the Cadet Doubles event. An excited Mom said “Excellent tournament with a lot of great players! Good job Jeremy!” After winning Gold this year at the 2015 Puerto Rico Junior & Cadet Open, this is definitely a great year for Jeremy.

The no.2 seed, at the final hurdle Lev Katsman accounted for Canada’s Jeremy Hazin, the top seed by the very narrowest of margins (7-11, 11-3, 11-6, 9-11, 11-9), having at the quarter-final stage beaten Montenegro’s Filip Radovic, the no.5 seed (11-3, 11-5, 11-7) and, in the penultimate round, Poland’s Kamil Dziadek, the no.12 seed (11-6, 9-11, 11-3, 11-4). In the opposite half of the draw, in the latter stages, Jeremy Hazin accounted for Romania’s Mihai Nemaciuc (11-2, 11-8, 13-11), prior to reserving his place in the final, courtesy of success against Poland’s Samuel Kulczychi, the no.13 seed (11-9, 11-7, 11-7).
