Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Blade: Balsa Carbo

Question:  Which Butterfly rubbers are best suited for the Balsa Carbo blade? I’m an all around player, I prefer top spin play from close to the table to mid distance, but also blocking and defense chops. Currently using Tenergy 05 back hand, Tenergy 05 FX for the fore hand, are these good choices? By the way, I’m well into my fifties but very athletic and agile with good reflexes. Thank you for your help.

Answer: Hi Tony,

Thanks to choosing Butterfly equipment.

I suggest you use Tenergy 80 for the forehand as it gives you more power and speed. For the backhand, Tenergy 05 is  a very good combination and you can keep it.

Have fun!
