Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Blade: Donic Jan Ove Waldner (Wari Slick premade bat)
Forehand: Wari Slick
Backhand: Wari Slick

Question: Hi Coach,
The above equipments are actually my brother’s. He recently ordered a Stiga Defensive Wood (I actually suggested Gionis Def carbon to him but he did not agree to it in the end ;P ). He is actually a defensive attacking player, I guess short pips in the BH and inverted rubber in FH. Please suggest an equipment for him.
I told him to choose Butterfly because of its very good quality and performance ( and also I use a Primorac OFF- 😉 ) Thank You.

Coach Dan Seemiller, Ask The ExpertsAnswer: Hi Abhishek,

I would recommend the Joo Saehyuk blade or the Gionis with Sriver EL 1.9 on the forehand  and Challenger Attack 1.5 or 1.9 on the backhand.

Excellent quality and good control with this combination.

Good Luck,
