Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Blade: Primorac Carbon FL
Forehand Rubber: Tackifire C 2.1mm
Backhand Rubber: Tackifire C 2.1mm

Question: Hi. I am thinking about upgrading to the Tenergy series. So can you please explain what each Tenergy rubber is good for?

Thank you.

Answer: Hello Sithu,

Good choice on considering the Tenergy series rubbers for your upgrade, they are the rubbers that most people choose and for good reason. Here are the following rubbers and their characteristics:

Tenergy 05 – Excellent for topspin play and the spiniest rubber of the series

Tenergy 64 – Softest sponge of the series, good for smashing and blocking

Tenergy 80 – The “middle” of the 05 and 64, good balance between spin and speed

Tenergy 25 – Used by those who like to stay up front to the table

The FX’s of each of the rubbers are simply just a softer version of the normal version. It could be beneficial to you if you like a rubber but preferred that it felt a bit softer. All of these rubbers are great choices, it really just depends on what you feel and want for your game.

Hope this helps and good luck!
