Butterfly Question & Answer

Blade: Viscaria
Forehand: Tenergy 05
Blade: Tenergy 80

Question: Hi Coach,
I have been wondering which Tenergy to use on backhand. I play lot banana flicks and play close to the table most of the time with loops and sometimes block. Tenergy 05 is perfect on forehand so is it good on my backhand too. I use max thickness on forehand so I was thinking the 1.9 thickness Tenergy 05 on my backhand, do you agree?

Coach Jeffrey Zeng, Ask The Experts

Answer: Hi Nick,

I think Tenergy 05 will be very good in your backhand, and when you use banana balls it will make more spin than Tenergy 64, but you must use Tenergy 05 2.1 thickness because it will have a higher stability.

Good Luck!
