Hi Everyone. My name is Richard Prause and I’d like to share some tips with you for a productive and efficient practice for the table tennis robot AMICUS.
Today we are focusing on shifting the weight during a forehand topspin. Shifting the body weight is important to get a good feel for movements towards the ball. During forehand topspin, right-handed players should shift from the right to the left leg and left-handers vice versa. We can see Tiago doing this very well even with the support of the hip and upper body. After each shot you should return to the neutral stance with weight distributed on both legs while waiting for the next ball.
