Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Blade: Innerforce Layer ZLC CS

Question: I am mostly an offensive player that have been playing with a recreational racket and I’m willing to get the best combo of blade and rubber.

I have been playing for 2 years and I’m a penholder.

I have been looking at Hadraw VR CS blade and Innerforce Layer ZLC CS for the blade. And I’m completely unsure about the rubber.

Please advise me on which is the best rubber and thickness combination for the 2 sides for speed and spin.

Thank you!

Coach Jeffrey Zeng, Ask The Experts

Answer: Hi Ilchade Jafar,

Normally I would recommend  Viscaria FL and both sides  Tenergy 05 because the Hadraw VR CS blade is relatively soft, you’ll need a little hard rubber to balance the performance of the racket.

If you are using Innerforce Layer ZLC CS, I would advise you to use Tenergy 05 on the forehand, because it allows you to have a good spin and force.

Backhand, I would recommend you to use  Tenergy 64, because it is a little soft. You can make your backhand have better control and speed.

Good luck!
