WAB CLUB FEATURE: Seoul Table Tennis Club

(by Steve Hopkins)

Seoul Table Tennis Club is located in Coquitlam, BC on the East side of Vancouver, Canada.  The club is just off of British Columbia Highway 7, easily accessible by auto or public transportation.

The club is dedicated to promoting the sport of table tennis and fostering the vibrant and inclusive community of players in Vancouver.  The club includes the large Korean communities in the area including church groups and senior communities looking to exercise and create unity. The club is not limited to just Korean players – they welcome all the ethnicities and invite all players to participate in all activities and events. The club is currently offering a range of programs and initiatives aimed at both beginner and amateur players, including:
  • Senior Communities: Engaging seniors and providing them with professional coaching to nurture their skills.
  • Amateur Tournaments: Hosting regular tournaments for enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, creating a competitive yet friendly environment. League tournaments and monthly tournaments are our most loved events.
  • Professional Coaching: Offering high-quality coaching sessions led by experienced trainers, ensuring continuous improvement for our members. 1 on 1 coaching has enhanced all our current students and players.
  • Social Events: Organizing social gatherings and networking events, enhancing the sense of community among our members. Saturday is booked for our senior communities where we also provide warm lunch and sense of belonging.
