Training camps set stage in Suva
Four teams have arrived early in Fiji looking for an edge before the World Cadet Challenge gets underway.
Continents will soon clash in Fiji as the world’s best cadets make their way to Suva for the 2017 ITTF World Cadet Challenge (WCC).

But before the event gets underway the teams from Europe, Oceania, Hopes and Fiji-Pacific have each taken advantage of early access to Vodafone Arena.

The stadium has been put through the paces as the teams adapt to the conditions. All nineteen table have been in full use as players find their footing and rhythm.

Just one more day remains left for the continental to sneak in some sessions before the stadium will get a redesign for the main event.

The official WCC training camp will kickoff on the 21st of October. Then the barriers will come down and the teams will have a chance to face each other in a friendly environment before the competition gets underway. It will be an opportunity to share new ideas in table tennis but also exchange culture through sport.

Players, managers, and technical officials from over forty countries are set to attend the eight day event.
