Blade:  Maze Performance FL
Forehand:  Warheads
Backhand: Warheads

Question: Hi,

I played table tennis a lot as a kid, unstructured, and learned in my basement (i.e., short game, low ceiling, topspin, offensive). I haven’t played in years, but got started again at Dedham Mastiff Table Tennis Club. I love my Maze Performance racket, and just bought another (blade only).
Question: I like the Warheads, but sense it’s not sold any more. Might want to move “up” a little, as I am getting better. I’m good with topspin, weak with underspin. Play aggressive, have equally good forehand and backhand, and only use one side of the racket (i.e., want same rubber for both sides).  What Rubber would you recommend similar to Warheads?

Thanks!
Steve

Answer:  Hi Steve,

I suggest you change to Sriver G2, it has a similar hardness as Warheads. This is an upgraded version of Sriver and has a high speed which fits your game play. It’s spin is also quite good which may help you improve your underspin.

Good luck,
