Canadian Players are getting ready to compete at the Canada Cup Finals which will serve as the a qualification competition for the upcoming 2016 Olympic Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro.
The Top Canadian Table Tennis Players will be traveling to Drummondville, Québec and starting to compete today, January 8th through Sunday January 10, 2016 in the hope to qualify for the North American Olympic Games Trials later this year.
2015 Canadian Champions Mo Zhang from British Columbia and Pierre-Luc Thériault from Québec are the #1 seeds in the Women’s and the Men’s Singles.

Butterfly North America has a 4-year agreement with Table Tennis Canada for the Canada Cup series. As the sponsor Butterfly will supply professional table tennis equipment including Centrefold 25 Rollaway and/or Europa 25 Stationary tables, nets and the new G40+ plastic ball for the 4-year period.
