USATT AND LILY YIP TABLE TENNIS CENTER PARTNER TO OFFER YOUNG OFFICIALS SEMINAR
Aspiring Young Table Tennis Officials Invited to Certification Seminar Sunday, April 23
USA Table Tennis (USATT), in collaboration with the Lily Yip Table Tennis Center (LYTTC), announced today
that it will be hosting its first-ever “Young Officials Seminar” on Sunday, April 23rd . The one-day seminar,
which will be hosted at LYTTC, will give aspiring young officials 13 – 18 years old the chance to learn the
rules of table tennis and earn their USATT Club Umpire Certification. The seminar will be conducted under
the supervision of ITTF International Referee and International Umpire Roman Tinyszin, who served as the
Deputy Referee at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Roman will also serve as the Referee for the 2017 ITTF
North America Hopes Challenge the following week.
