US Open Teams Championships – Save The Date (Sept 5-7, 2026)

Posted on

(By Steve Hopkins)

During the holidays, USATT announced that the US Open Teams Table Tennis Championships is slated to return to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina next September.  As you mark your calendar and begin to plan your schedule of table tennis events, be sure to include that huge 5-star competition that will run over Labor day weekend from September 5-7.

In case you need a reminder, as the latest chill has spread across 2/3 of the nation, temperatures in September in Myrtle Beach are in the mid 80s and that seaside destination is a great destination for players, their families, and their fans.

Butterfly North and South America continues to be the official equipment provider for USA Table Tennis.  Butterfly continues to support this event and has a real commitment to providing professional standards and equipment to provide the most elite playing environment possible.

In 2025, this event featured nearly 100 teams competing in 8 divisions.   That event featured a $10,000 top prize.  This year’s event promises to be even bigger.
