Jha to Face Calderano as Draws for Montpellier are Posted

USA’s Kanak Jha will see action on Wednesday, on the second day of the WTT Champions series event in Montpellier, France.  The draws were revealed today, and Jha will face top seed Hugo Calderano – a tough opening match, but in their five previous matches Jha has won once, and lost by a single game once.

In that half of the draw, Calderano is joined by Xiang Peng and Felix Lebron as the top seeds.  The second half of the draw has Harimoto as the highest seed with three top Germans (Duda, Qiu, and Ovtcharov) as well as Truls Moregard, Darko Jorgic and Alexis Lebrun.

USA’s Lily Zhang will face China’s Chen Yi in her opening match on Wednesday.  The top seeds for the Women include World No. 3-10 with Chen Xington and Kuai Man as the top two seeds.

Action starts on Tuesday – with the two Americans in action on Tuesday.
