Kanak Jha will be the player to watch this coming week at the 2017 SuperMicro US National Table Tennis Championships in Las Vegas. Jha will be the top seed coming into the tournament, aiming to defend his title from 2016 where he staged an incredible comeback to overcome 2015 National Champion Yijun Feng in the final at the Brooklyn Bowl.
As the big event nears it has been Kanak Jha whose form has started to blossom as the final celebration beckons. Training and competing overseas in Sweden, Jha has started to see the results of his hard work. Achieving a career win at the World Table Tennis Championships where he defeated Romania’s Adrian Crisan before losing in the last 32 to teammate Mattias Karlsson, 4-2, Kanak’s form has taken flight in the past few months.
