Edmarie León Shines at the WTT Youth Contender Humacao

The WTT Youth Contender Humacao 2025 was marked by the talent and determination of Edmarie León, who was crowned champion in the U-19 women’s singles and mixed doubles categories. Her exceptional performance during the tournament cemented her position as one of the most promising players in Puerto Rican table tennis and an example of discipline and perseverance.

Edmarie demonstrated an impressive level throughout the competition, facing opponents from different countries and overcoming each challenge with great poise and skill. In the U-19 singles final, she triumphed with authority, demonstrating her competitive maturity and ability to adapt to different playing styles.

In the mixed doubles category, Edmarie formed an unstoppable duo that dominated the competition with perfect timing and a high level of strategy. Her rapport with her partner and her ability to make decisions at key moments were crucial in winning the title.
