Hi Everyone. My name is Richard Prause and I’d like to share some tips with you for a productive and efficient practice for the table tennis robot AMICUS.
Today we are focusing on the correct distance to the table. Always check your distance to the table even if you plan to playing the ball early in the standing phase. You should always keep some distance to the table to be able to shift your weight (left handers to the right leg and right handers to the left leg) towards the table. If you don’t keep a little distance, generating spin motion would be impossible. Its important to be able to move into the ball on long and half long shots and then return to the neutral stance.
