Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Blade: Spinlord Ultra Power
Forehand: Tenergy 05
Backhand: Tenergy 05

Question: I am a attacker who plays close to the table. Stronger in backhand and forehand counter block and drives shots but spinny loops close to the table are difficult. My loops are deep, slower, and higher than more advanced players. Current blade is fast but suitable for combi rubbers (inverted & short pips). Looking at changing blades and unsure on which blade to go with the Viscaria or Liu Schiwen ZLF blade?

Coach Jishan Liang, Ask The Experts

Answer: Hi Duane,

I have a student that plays a similar style to yours.

You should try the Viscaria blade and change your backhand rubber to Tenergy 05 FX. It is more soft, easy to control.

Best of luck!
