2017 Butterfly Badger Open: $16,000 in prize money

Butterfly is proud to sponsor the upcoming 2017 Butterfly Badger Open. The Butterfly Badger Open is a four-star USATT sanctioned table tennis tournament on September 15 th through September 17th in Franklin, Wisconsin. This year’s Badger Open offers $16,000 in total prize money.

Tournament director Linda Leaf of Milwaukee Table Tennis Club, milwaukeettc.org, brings us the annual Badger Open to the Milwaukee area.  In 2016, almost 250 players participated, with the highest rated player Liang Jishan (2638) claiming the Butterfly Badger Open Singles Champion title against Pu Li in the final.

Butterfly is proud to have the 2017 Butterfly Badger Open as a stop on the 2017 Butterfly North America Tour. The tournament not only serves high-rated players with Open Singles and rated events; it also offers aged events, a recreational event and a corporate team event.
