(by Buterfly Global)

In the final installment of our WTTC 2025 series, we share a report from the Butterfly booth at the Championships venue.

Despite the limited space, we were thrilled to welcome a large number of table tennis fans and professionals from around the world. Their presence was a powerful reminder of the high expectations and continued support for Butterfly.

Feeling the Global Love for Butterfly ‐ Visitors from Around the World

While most visitors came from China, we were also delighted to see many guests from the host country, Qatar, neighboring nations like the UAE, and even from Europe and the Americas. The global enthusiasm for table tennis was reflected vividly in the diverse crowd at our booth.

One of the highlights was our giveaway campaign, where participants who completed a survey received an official ball of the Championships. Many attendees saw the balls as a meaningful souvenir of the event, and the campaign proved so popular that all supplies were distributed within just four days.

Many visitors arrived with high expectations, hoping to see a large-scale event space similar to last year’s Championships in Busan. Their enthusiasm served as a valuable reminder of the strong anticipation and excitement for future Butterfly booths.

Bringing Home Memories from Qatar – WTTC Limited Edition T-Shirt

One of the most talked-about items at this year’s Butterfly booth was the WTTC Limited Edition T-Shirt.
Available in both black and Qatar flag red, the limited-edition T-shirt featured the Championship logo. Lots of fans proudly picked one up as a great keepsake from the event.

With its unique, event-exclusive design, the T-shirt resonated deeply with fans around the world as both a special collectible and a reminder of the championships in Qatar.

Spotlight on Sustainability – Discoveries from the Display Area

The booth also featured a display of last year’s gift items—such as binders, fridge magnets, pen cases, and mirrors—all crafted with sustainability in mind (some with minor design updates).

Many visitors stopped to view the display and eagerly asked, “Are these for sale?”
Their interest went beyond the products themselves. The reactions we received reflected a growing global awareness of environmental responsibility, making it clear that our sustainability efforts are being recognized and supported by the international table tennis community.

Closing the WTTC Series – The Unbreakable Bonds of Table Tennis

With that, concludes our three-part series on Butterfly’s involvement at WTTC 2025.
From the gift items made from surplus materials, to the support for the ITTF Foundation, and the Butterfly booth itself—each part highlighted different themes, yet one message remained clear throughout: the global table tennis community’s love for the sport. As we continue striving to elevate the level of competition, we remain equally committed to addressing global challenges such as environmental sustainability and social contribution—through the power of table tennis. Looking ahead, Butterfly will continue moving forward as a global brand, united with the worldwide table tennis community in building a more sustainable future.
