The Swedish Championships finished today and familiar names were in the Finals. Truls Möregårdh won the Men’s Singles title with a 4-2 win over Anton Källberg. This is the same Final as last year except a year ago, Anton won 4-3. Mattias Falck is the top ranked Swede, but an injury kept him out of the event this year.
The roles were reversed in Mixed Doubles where Anton paired with his younger sister Christina “Stina”Kallberg to top Truls and Filippa Bergand 3-0. Stina is a rising star in Sweden where she was the top U18 player a year ago and is now a part of the Swedish team. Anton is just 23, so expect to hear from both brother and sister for many years to come as both are still improving.
