MLTT Weekly Round-Up

Portland never disappoints as an MLTT host city, and last week was no exception. Thank you to the many fans who came out to cheer on the new look Paddlers, even if Florida and No. 1 overall 2024 draft pick Liam Pitchford stole the show up the moment when Portland stole it right back in the final battle of the weekend!

We’re live from Raleigh in 3, 2, 1…

LIVE STREAM | Smash vs. Wind | MLTT Week 2 (Raleigh, NC)

Our matches are live to the planet on YouTube yet again in Season 2, so don’t forget to like and subscribe so that you don’t miss a second of MLTT action. We’re just a couple days away from Week 2 action at Triangle Badminton and Table Tennis Club, and here are some of the storylines we’re watching:

Texas Smash

  • Our first look at the defending champs, and they’re coming to the Carolinas with their roster loaded and ready to go. Texas’ primetime core of Amy Wang, David McBeath, Hiro Kasahara and Nandan Naresh will all be there, with new faces Amir Hodaei and Artur Abusev as the reinforcements. The title defense starts here.

Carolina Gold Rush

  • MLTT’s first season was one of domination for the Gold Rush, including MVP awards for Enzo Angles and Hong Lin. But it all ended the wrong way, with an upset at the hands of the eventual champions, the Smash. Does the Carolina revenge tour kick off this weekend?

Chicago Wind

  • Eric Owens’ squad brought in a lot of new faces, and we’ll get to see a bunch of them. Damien Provost and Alex Cazacu are back, but they’ll see if a new rotation with Emannuel Lebesson, Yijun Feng, Mo Zhang and Xianjing Zhang will lead to a higher spot in the rankings this time around.

Seattle Spinners

Led by the centerpiece of MLTT’s first-ever trade, Kou Lei, the Spinners changed up their look plenty after a tough finish to 2023-24. Adi Sareen and Olajide Omotayo will look to jump-start a group that added Debora Vivarelli, Lubomir Pistej and Thiago Monteiro.

Once our Raleigh event ends, we’re taking a quick break before heading to Chicago! Don’t miss our return to one of the best table tennis cities in America.

Every stop this season, fans can look forward to an action-packed weekend as top-tier teams from across the country compete in a series of games that promise to deliver high-octane thrills and showcase the incredible talent and athleticism of professional table tennis players.

Tickets are on sale now for all first half events events.

Here’s a glimpse at the first half season lineup:
