MLTT Atlanta Preview: The Southern Showdown!

Major League Table Tennis heads to the Gas South Convention Center in Duluth for six matches from November 15 to 17.

Team Objectives 

  • Princeton Revolution: Wants to climb the East standings.
  • Chicago Wind: Needs to fix issues in doubles.
  • Bay Area Blasters: Looks stronger with Taehyun Kim back in the lineup.
  • Atlanta Blazers: Plays at home, still chasing its first win

Princeton replaces Mathieu De Saintilan with free agent Kewei Li for the weekend.

Hiromitsu Kasahara and Haeeun Choi win Player of the Week honors for Week 5

Texas’ Hiromitsu Kasahara (SPINDEX: 2769) and New York’s Haeeun Choi (2575) have been named Men’s and Women’s Players of the Week for Week 5, Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) announced on Tuesday.

Choi, who made her MLTT debut during Week 4 in Chicago, has won Women’s Player of the Week for every week she has played. She becomes the first two-time winner of either award during Season 3, as well as this year’s first Player of the Week for two consecutive weekends.

Kasahara won six of his nine singles games, taking two each from New York’s Yiran Wu (2715), Princeton’s Benedek Olah (2769) and Los Angeles’ Kou Lei (2785). He is now the No. 2 player in the league according to MLTT’s official power rankings, trailing only Kang Dong-Soo (2788) from the Portland Paddlers.
