Week 10 Recap: Texas Smash and New York Slice Surge in Willowbrook While Crocs Continue Slide
Major League Table Tennis Week 10 saw the Texas Smash and New York Slice stage critical comebacks in Willowbrook to reignite their playoff hopes. After a winless Week 9, Texas snapped a four-match skid with dominant victories over Florida and Chicago, bolstered by a “hometown” performance from Nandan Naresh.
The Slice also surged back into postseason position, led by a healthy Koki Niwa and a perfect 3-0 debut from Jessica Reyes Lai. While the Chicago Wind remained competitive behind Robert Gardos’s MVP-level play, the Florida Crocs continued their slide, falling to the bottom of the East Division despite a strong return from Peiyu Zhu.
