USATT Sanctioned 2-Star Table Tennis Tournament with $2,525 in Cash Prizes!
Saturday, October 1 – Sunday, October 2, 2022
Venue – Spin & Smash Table Tennis & Ping Pong Club, 2192 N. Wilson Rd. Columbus, OH 43228
Staff – Tournament Director Gloria Price. Committee is Anwen Harris and Laura Fullen. Dave Fullen, CR/CU is the Certified Referee.
Professional facility – 22’ ceiling, Table Tennis flooring, white Butterfly R40+ balls, Butterfly Europa tables
Format – Round robin events with 4 or more players per group with 2 advancing from each group to single eliminator (SE). All matches best 3 out of 5, except for Open finals, which will be 4 out of 7. We reserve the right to change formats as necessary.
Rules – All USATT regulations apply; only USATT approved equipment; USATT dress code will be enforced – no white clothing. Players cannot enter 2 events with the same starting me.
Payments – Withdrawals through Monday, November 28 will receive a refund. No refunds after November 28. All payments must be received by midnight November 28. Unpaid entries may be deleted November 29. Late entries may be accepted until December 1 with a $5 late fee based on availability. No phone entries. All entries must be paid prior to participation.
Food/Hotel – The playing venue is near several fast food and other restaurants; Courtyard by Marriott in Dublin and many other options.
Ratings – Ratings from November 15 will be used for eligibility. Updated ratings will be used for seeding. Tournament staff may modify, combine, cancel events and limit total entrants. Unrated players may enter any event but cannot advance from rated events; they can advance from the Unrated Round Robin, the Open and the U-4000 Doubles RR and receive prizes.
