Breaking News: 2024 US Junior National Team Trials Highlights

The 2024 US Junior National Team Trials, held from March 26th to 30th in West Monroe, Louisiana, witnessed intense competition among Bowmar Sports/Butterfly players vying for top honors. Among our most notable players we have:

Nandan Naresh showcased his skills in the U19 Boys Stage 2, clinching an impressive 1st place, Kef Noorani delivered an outstanding performance, claiming 2nd place in the U15 Boys Singles and Jaden Jia showcased his potential by securing a 3rd place finish in the U13 Boys Singles.

Other notable mentions include Daniel Tran (4th place, U19 Boys Stage 2), Yishiuan Lin (4th place, U17 Girls Stage 2), and Jacob Kordus (4th place, U11 Boys Stage 2).

Women in power and standing out in multiple categories!

In the U19 Girls Singles category, Rachel Wang secured a commendable 4th place, while also dominating the U17 Girls Stage 2 with a 1st place finish. Isabella Xu, demonstrated her talent by securing 2nd place in the U19 Girls Singles, with Emily Tan closely following in 3rd place.

 Irene Yeoh, Dominates 2024 US Junior National Team Trials! 

In a remarkable display of talent and determination, Irene Yeoh emerged as a standout performer the young table tennis prodigy showcased her prowess across multiple age categories, solidifying her status as a rising star in the sport.

Irene’s exceptional performance saw her sweep through all age events, including U13 (1st Place), U15 (2nd Place), U17 (3rd Place), and U19 (5th Place), securing top 8 finishes in each category. In an astounding feat, Irene competed in a total of 50 games over the course of the four-day event.

The breakdown of Irene’s gameplay highlights her remarkable stamina and resilience:

1st Day: 13 games
2nd Day: 17 games
3rd and 4th Day: 20 games each

At just 12 years old, Irene’s performance not only marks her personal best but also makes history in USATT events.
