Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer

Question: What is the difference between the Zhang Jike T5000 and the Timo Boll T5000 paddles?

My style is close to the table aggressive loop/smash. What would be a good Tenergy rubber combo for Forehand and Backhand?

Answer:  Hi Odeon,

There isn’t too much separating the Zhang Jike T5000 and Timo Boll T5000. I would say that the Zhang Jike T5000 has a slightly thinner wood which might make it a little easier to control. Both blades are really good for your style since you like to stay close to the table and play an aggressive game.

As for the Tenergy combo, I would recommend Tenergy 64 or the Tenergy 64-FX if you like a softer sponge.

Thanks for your interest in Butterfly and all the best!
