2016 U.S. Olympic Table Tennis Trials Press Conference
On January 6th at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro North Carolina, USA Table Tennis hosted a Press Conference for the upcoming 2016 U.S. Olympic Table Tennis Trials.
Hill Carrow, Chairman of the local organizing committee for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials – Table Tennis, along with other USA Table Tennis officials and top athletes, presented the 2016 U.S. Olympic Table Tennis Trials to local news outlets, event sponsors and supporters. The United States Olympic Committee and USA Table Tennis in collaboration with the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, the Greensboro Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Greensboro Sports Commission, and the Triangle Sports Commission, will bring this exciting event to the Greensboro Coliseum Complex’s Special Events Center on February 4- 6, 2016.
The afternoon featured Greensboro Convention & Visitors Bureau President and CEO Henri Fourier graciously welcoming USA Table Tennis to Greensboro. CEO of USA Table Tennis, Gordon Kaye, shared information about the Olympic Sport and introduced 2015 North American Singles Champion, 2015 World & Pan Am Team member and 2012 U.S. Olympian Timothy Wang and 2015 North American Cadet Boys Singles and Junior Team Champion Jack Wang. Timothy and Jack entertained the crowd with an impressive table tennis exhibition.
