Biography
Dr. Alomar-Jimenez earned his Bachelor of Science degree at University of Puerto Rico where he received a full scholarship to compete in the varsity table tennis team.
After his undergraduate studies, he was accepted to a combined graduate program, earning his M.D. and J.D., in 2014 from University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus and Law School, respectively. Additionally, he is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
Dr. Alomar-Jimenez completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York University Langone Medical Center, followed by a Sports Medicine and Interventional Spine Fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, both at New York.
Dr. Alomar-Jimenez clinical responsibilities include an outpatient practice focusing in the non- surgical treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions such as low back pain, joint pain, osteoarthritis, tendon disorders and sports injuries. His clinical scope of practice includes ultrasound-guided and interventional spine procedures. His research interests include regenerative medicine and medico-legal topics.
