- 1999 through 2006 Sri Lankan national men’s team captain.
- 1996 First ever Sri Lankan Table Tennis player to win an international gold medal won Junior boys doubles gold at the South and Southeast Asian Junior TT Championships.
- 1996 Olympic torch bearer for Sri Lanka at the Atlanta Olympics in – ran through
Washington DC - 1995 First ever Sri Lankan Table Tennis player to win an international medal in Men’s singles event, won a bronze medal in Men’s singles at the South Asian Games.
- 1995-2006 Won 10+ Medals in South Asian Federation Games from
- Eight times Sri Lankan National Men’s singles champion (current Sri Lankan record for winning most national men’s singles championships).
