Titans Clash in Final, Wu Takes 7th Title at Westchester
In another immense weekend of table tennis, a champion emerged at the Westchester August Open in Pleasantville, NY. For Jun Han Wu being victorious here is not a new experience but no doubt one he enjoys as he continues to rise to the challenge of keeping his challengers at bay.
The Open Singles event at the Westchester Open boasts $1500 for the winner each month and draws a host of the top players from the east coast, along with the occasional top player from Europe with the likes of Bojan Tokic, Andrej Gacina and He Zhiwen all having competed in the tournament before, along with 2016 US Open champion Wang Wei who has taken the title on a handful of occasions.
