The final weekend of the TTBL German League ended today and the result was as expected – with Borussia Dusseldorf winning 3-1.  The win is basically a Triple Crown for the stacked Dusseldorf squad.  The team won the mid-year title, won the regular season and won the final.  That isn’t all, they also won the European team title earlier this year.  The squad of Timo Boll, Anton Kallberg, and Kristian Karlsson has been unstoppable.

For the final today, Saarbrucken’s Darko Jorgic topped Karlsson in a tight 3-2 match.  But Dusseldorf ran the table after that first loss with Kallberg topping Fanziska 3-1, Boll topping Kun 3-1, and Kallberg topping Jorgic 3-1 to seal the win.
