Butterfly Table Tennis Question and Answer
Blade: Timo Boll ALC
Forehand: Xiom Omega V Europe
Backhand: Friendship 755 .5mm sponge
Question: My name is Peter and I am looking for advice on my next sheet of long pips. I switched from inverted rubber to long pips about 3 years ago. With the introduction of the 40+ ball, I am finding my current sheet is not having the same success with hitting and push driving. The spin reversal is has also lessened. I currently use Friendship 755 with . 5mm sponge. What Dr. Neubauer rubber has had the most success with aggressive long pip play with the introduction of the new 40+ ball? I like being aggressive with my pips at the table.
Answer: Hi Peter,
Thank you for your inquiry.
I am not very certain about Dr. Neubauer rubbers but I think you will find what you are looking for in Butterfly’s selection. My suggestion for you is to try the Feint AG long pips. This rubber can be really good for an aggressive approach like you plan on doing.
I hope you will give it a try and hopefully find it good for your game.
Good luck!
