Mexico asserted its dominance in Central America by claiming the overall championship title at the Central America Regional Championships, held in San José, Costa Rica, from April 1 to April 6, 2025.

A standout performance came from Rogelio Castro, whose contributions proved to be indispensable to Team Mexico. This talented athlete secured three Gold Medals (Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles), and added a Silver Medal in the Men’s Team Event.  Castro almost single-handedly kept Mexico at the top podium all week.
