The draws were released today for the WTT Champions Macao 2026. The seedings are locked in, and there are lots of interesting match-ups in store for fans.
The event features 32 players. The top seed in the Men’s event is Sora Matsushima who will face Tom Jarvis in the opening round on Wednesday and who will need to get past Hugo Calderano to reach the Semifinals. The second seed in the top half is Alexis Lebrun who will have a tough path to the Semis that potentially could include Benedikt Duda and Lin Yun-Ju.
The second overall seed is Tomokazu Harimoto who may face Anders Lind, Dang Qiu, or Zhou Qihao on his way to the Semifinals. That quarter of the draw also includes USA’s Kanak Jha who will face China Huang Youzheng for the right to play the winner of the Dang Qiu/Zhou Qihao match. The final section of the draw includes Truls Moregard, Darko Jorgic, Chen Yuanyu, Simon Gauzy, Togami and Franziska – in a part of the draw that is unlikely to avoid upsets.
The top seeds in Women’s Singles are Miwa Harimoto, Kuai Man, Wang Yidi, and Hina Hayata. North American fans will get to see Adriana Diaz of Puerto Rico, Lily Zhang of the USA, and Mo Zhang of Canada in action as well. Lily Zhang and Mo Zhang actually open against each other on Wednesday. Adriana Diaz will start against Honoka Hashimoto on Thursday.
