Located in Katy, Texas on the West side of Metropolitan Houston, is the Houston International Table Tennis Academy (HITTA).  Consistent with being located in the largest city in the largest State, HITTA provides one of the largest professional table tennis training academies in the country.  The facility is 11000 square feet with 18 tables, quality lighting, and rubber flooring. In addition to the high quality playing area, the venue also includes a gym for physical training, a lounge, a reception area, and a table tennis equipment pro shop.

They lay claim to one of the strongest coaching teams in the country.  In recent years they have presented primary and visiting coaches with a collective resume that includes former Chinese National Team members, a former US National Team Member, an Olympian, a Men’s team World Champion, and a World Cup Champion.  The current list of coaches includes Wang Hui, Liu Wantong, Li Hangyu, and Shi Diwei.  Check with the club for current staff availability.  There are options at the club for private lessons, semi-private lessons, group lessons, camps and clinics.

HITTA offers opportunities for all different types for different levels of players, and has open play for members to exercise and enjoy themselves. The Beginner League (0-1200) is Friday nights.  There is also an Intermediate League (1200-1800) on Fridays, and an Elite League for players over 1800 that meets on Saturdays.

Everyone is welcome.

Location: 510 S. Mason Rd. in Katy, Texas
