WAB Club Feature: Seattle Pacific Table Tennis Club

(by Steve Hopkins)

Seattle Pacific Table Tennis Club (SPTTC) is located in Bellevue, Washington, off of highway SR-520 just over Lake Washington from North side of Seattle.  The club is 9600 square feet with 18-foot ceilings, 16 Butterfly Centerfold tables, red Gerflor flooring, and two-toned walls to assist in visibility.

The goal of SPTTC is to promote the sport of table tennis in the greater Seattle area. They offer a friendly, professional environment ideal for all levels of play. The club is open seven days a week and all levels of players are welcome.

Every Wednesday and Saturday evening, there is a league (with a cash prize for group 1).  Players arrive and compete and the top finishers from each group play in a knock-out round.  For those seeking formal training, SPTTC has an experienced coaching staff and offers hourly rates, after school training, vacation programs, and camps.  The coaching staff includes Coach Jia Qi (Judy), Xinxu Zhao (Eric), and Singshuai Meng (Richard).  Each of these coaches has a rating over 2500 and has experience as both a player and a coach.  The Mid-Winter Camp just ended (running 2/17-2/21), but kids can still sign up for the Spring Break Camp this April (4/13-4/17).   Visit Seattle Pacific Table Tennis Club.  Come and enjoy the great sport of table tennis.
