WAB CLUB FEATURE: Sarasota Table Tennis Club

(by Steve Hopkins)

The Sarasota Table Tennis Club is located in Sarasota about half way between Tampa and Fort Myers on the Gulf Coast of Florida.  The facility is just off I-75, near downtown Sarasota and within an hour of downtown Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Fort Myers

The club has 10 Butterfly Tables and fully barriered playing space in a gym with very high ceilings, great flooring, and great lighting.  The conditions are ideal for high level play.

STTC is an established community of table tennis players.  The club has been functioning for 15 years and, like many American clubs is a nice blend of Americans and many who learned to play in countries where the sport is more popular (South Korea, Vietnam, China, Germany, etc).  The club is open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Whether you are from the Gulf Coast of Florida, or just vacationing, visit the club for competition, training, exercise, or fun.

Location: 5300 Colonial Oaks Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34232

Contact:  sarasotatabletennis@gmail.com  |  787-327-2550  |  STTC on Facebook

Hours: Monday 7-10p, Wednesday 7-10p, Saturday 2-5p.
