WAB CLUB FEATURE: Houston International Table Tennis Academy

Located in Katy, Texas on the West side of Metropolitan Houston, is the Houston International Table Tennis Academy (HITTA).  Consistent with being located in the largest city in the largest State, HITTA provides one of the largest professional table tennis training academies in the country. 

The facility is 11000 square feet with 18 tables, quality lighting up to international competition standards, and rubber flooring. In addition to the high quality playing area, the venue also includes a gym for physical training, a lounge, a reception area, free wi-fi and a table tennis equipment pro shop.

They lay claim to one of the strongest coaching teams in the country.  With Hui Wang, Hangyu Li, Diwei Shi, Wantong Liu, and Zhe Wang, they have a great team of qualified coaches.  There are options at the club for private lessons, semi-private lessons, group lessons, camps and clinics.  They also offer “HITTA TWO COURSES” that provides for coaching of two students together with one instructor for a combination of focused instruction as well as peer training.

HITTA offers opportunities for all different types for different levels of players, and has open play for members to exercise and enjoy themselves. The Beginner League (0-1200) is Friday nights.  There is also an Intermediate League (1200-1800) on Fridays, and an Elite League for players over 1800 that meets on Saturdays.
