WAB CLUB FEATURE: Allen & Sons Table Tennis Club

Located in the San Fernando Valley, North of Santa Monica and Malibu in the greater Los Angeles area is Allen & Sons Table Tennis Club.

The facility is ideal for all levels of play (whether you’re a beginner or a professional).  There are 8 Butterfly Centerfold tables and ITTF red rubber flooring.   Paddles and balls are available, and they have effective air conditioning to keep you cool while you play.  The club owner, Fovad Kaseb, is a high-performance coach, and was a player for, and the Head Coach of Iran’s national team.  The Club features other accomplished player-coaches, who offer individual and group lessons.  Coaches include Bella Livshin (a coach for 50 years who has won numerous US titles in Over-40 and Over-50 events);  Dinh Nguyen (a former Vietnamese junior team member);  Kim Gilbert (a three-time U.S. Olympic Festival Gold Medalist, and elite coach); Vahid Mosaferi (an ITTF certified coach and former Iranian National Team member); Rudy Miranda (an ITTF-certified coach, who participated in 6 World Championships); and Anastasiia Rybka (a top Ukrainian and USA-collegiate player).

The Club features Group Classes for all levels including Monday mornings and evenings, and Wednesday mornings .  There are once-weekly round robin competitions.   There is also a weekly Kids’ Camp.    The Club offers free parking, and a Butterfly™ Pro Shop with a wide selection and competitive pricing.  There is also a Parkinson’s group that plays once a week.

Schedule: Weekdays 10a – 9:30p, Weekends 10a – 4p
