Valiant Efforts, Medal Finish Passes Within Points
The US Junior Boys Table Tennis team have come within points of guaranteeing themselves a medal at the 2017 World Junior Table Tennis Championships in Riva Del Garda, Italy. After an amazing performance yesterday against Russia where Sharon Alguetti wrestled back from a 2-0 deficit to close out the deciding match, the team advanced to the Quarterfinals to play off against another team in hot form, Romania, who had stunned Sweden to progress to the last 8.
