USATT Announcement: New Membership Options

Posted on

(by Steve Hopkins)

USA Table Tennis released a new, simplified membership structure for 2021.  Players will now be able to choose a “BASIC” or “PRO” plan option.

The BASIC Plan option will only cost $25 per year.  It allows players to compete in 4 Star events (and below), and USATT Leagues only.

The PRO Plan option will cost $75 and will allow players to play in all sanctioned tournaments and leagues including the US Nationals and US Open.

Other USATT benefits such as insurance, ratings, and sponsor discounts will continue for both plan types – and the Lifetime Membership Plan (which will include all “Pro” plan benefits) remains available as well.

The new membership options should help to expand the number of active members – as the organization continues its efforts to expand the reach of the sport in the US.

The full USATT announcement can be read here.
