US Team Ready to Contest 2017 Pan Am Championships

US Team Ready to Contest 2017 Pan Am Championships
Four players from the USA’s 2017 team which competed in the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships in Dusseldorf will compete next week at the 2017 ITTF Pan American Championships, joined by another 4 teammates. A tough team of US National team players will take on the competition in Cartagena, Colombia from the 11th to 17th of September. 2015 North American Champion Jennifer Wu will be looking to up her game and rise to the challenge, looking for gold in the team, singles and doubles competitions.

Accompanied by coaches Jorg Bitzigeio and Tao Wenzhang, the 8-strong team from USA will take on tough competition from across North and South America with strong opposition likely to show from Brazil and also nations like Mexico, Puerto Rico and Argentina. USATT wish the following players the best of luck in the competition:

Men’s Team: Sharon Alguetti, Adar Alguetti, Nicholas Tio and Kunal Chodri.
Women’s Team: Jennifer (Yue) Wu, Crystal Wang, Grace Yang, Rachel Yang.

Players will all represent in their respective singles events.

Doubles Teams: Nicholas Tio/Kunal Chodri, Sharon and Adar Alguetti (Men’s), Crystal Wang/Jennifer Wu, Grace and Rachel Yang (women’s).

Mixed Doubles: Sharon Alguetti/Jennifer Wu, Adar Alguetti/Crystal Wang.
