US Nationals Preview: Two Weeks Until the June 16 Entry Deadline

Action is set to start on July 3rd in San Jose for this rendition of the US Nationals.  Kanak Jha, Nikhil Kumar, Jishan Liang, Nandan Naresh and Sid Naresh are currently the top five seeds in Men’s Singles, and Amy Wang, Sally Moyland, Angela Guan, Jessica Reyes-Lai, and Lilian Ma top the Women’s Singles list.

Almost eleven hundred players are already signed up to compete in 116 events at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. The premier events are Hsing Family Foundation Men’s Singles, Hsing Family Foundation Women’s Singles, Hsing Family Foundation U-21 Men’s Singles, and Hsing Family Foundation U-21 Women’s Singles. There are also 10 Boys and Girls Singles Events (U-19, U-17, U-15, U-13, and U-11) and an additional 17 events for older participants with age groupings of 30 & Over up to 85 & Over. There are also 40 Doubles Events, Open, Adult, and Junior Rating Events, a series of Classic Events, a Parkinson event and 7 Para events.
