Two Weeks Until WTT Feeder Ft. Lauderdale – American’s Seeded First in Both Singles Events

Posted on
(by Steve Hopkins)

Only two weeks left until the WTT Feeder Fort Lauderdale 2022.  USA’s Kanak Jha is the top seed, and a good showing could see him move inside the World Top 20 for the first time.   He will face steep competition including France’s Simon Gauzy, Spain’s Alvaro Robles, Puerto Rico’s Daniel Gonzales, and fast-rising German team member Kay Stumper.   USA’s Lily Zhang will lead a competitive women’s field as well – with Egypt’s Dina Meshref, Slovakia’s Barbora Balazova, and India’s Sreeja Akula close on her heels.  Both Americans hope to ride home country advantage and close out the year with titles.

Qualifying rounds will be played on December 9 and 10 with the Main Draw (top 64 in singles) starting on December 11th.  The Finals will be on Wednesday, December 14.
