Full Day of Competition and Fun
Following the intensity of the National Team Trials and Butterfly Cary Cup we hosted in March, we lightened up a bit with a 1-day USATT 2-star sanctioned tournament in April. Players enjoyed 4 rating level singles events, as well as a 3-Person Brazilian Teams event that was so popular with our players that we may add another one later in the year! You can check out some of the event photos in our Facebook Photo Album.
We Enjoyed Hosting a Corporate Outing with GSK
GlaxoSmithKline’s Insights & Analytics team joined us in May for a team outing, complete with on-site dinner, open play, and a private tournament. You can see some of the photos from this event in our Facebook Photo Album. We had a great time hosting them, and we’d love to host YOUR company or community group for a fun team-building event, as well!

Ever wished you had better odds to score the highest prizes? This 3rd annual May “Upside Down” Tournament is coming up this weekend, and it may be tailor-made for you! It’s become very popular because of its unique approach of offering the largest prizes on the lower rated events. This year, we’ve upgraded it to a USATT 4-star sanctioned tournament, with over $3,000 in prizes, and a U3500 Doubles event in addition to the singles rating events. All events are round robin, guaranteeing players a variety of matches. Details are available in the printable entry form, and registration is closing out on Thursday, May 18th, so get your enrollment in quickly!

Players can enjoy 3 events during this one day tournament: one of the 4 standard Singles rating-level events in the morning, followed in the early afternoon by a Fun Size mini table event (non-USATT sanctioned), and ending with Parent/Child Doubles. Details, including the USATT handicap point spread table, are available in the printable entry form, and players who register using online registration on our websitebefore June 22nd will enjoy a 10% Early Registration discount on event fees.
