Triangle Table Tennis to Host 4-Star Southeastern Open (Giant RR)
Triangle Table Tennis is excited to host the 4-star Southeastern Open held October 20-22nd in Morrisville, NC. In its third year, the Southeastern Open is similar in format to the beloved and well-established Cary Cup and will feature a giant round robin main event and other round robin events over the course of 3 days of competition. $7500 in cash prizes, including $1700 + $300 gift card for the champion of the main event, awaits those who attend.

The competition opens with the Under-1800 and Over-1800 round robin events on Friday evening as a prelude to the main event the next day. The main round robin event will feature 3 rounds, similar to the Cary Cup. On Saturday morning, competitors will compete in a round robin placement group of 5 players, to determine their division. In the afternoon, competitors will play in giant round robin groups of 8 each within their division. The top 4 competitors from round 2 advance to the third round on Sunday to determine final placement and prizes. Competitors can expect to play a minimum of 11 matches in the main event, making this tournament a great choice for juniors and adults alike that want to gain tournament experience in a short amount of time.
